Tardis Mobile Ltd is an established market leader in the field of mobile data communications, vehicle tracking and vehicle telemetry. Our expansion has lead to the following vacancies becoming available at our Southampton office.
1. Marketing Positions
Following a period of product development and path-finding sales, our marketing activity now needs to ramp up, which means the creation of a completely new marketing department. There is a perhaps-unique opportunity for individuals to get in at the start of a key new department in the rapidly growing market of mobile communications. Tardis Mobile is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tardis Transcommunications plc - a group with growing interest in many areas involving mobile communications.
Marketing Manager
(REF:JMC10)
Package: £ Excellent Basic + Bonus Scheme, Share Options, Car, Pension,
Healthcare.
A key position within the group, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for
putting the company in the right position on the map. Reporting to the Commercial
Director of Tardis Mobile Ltd, this is a senior management position.
Duties: Market research, competitive analysis, identification of key market
sectors, update/production of marketing plan, implementation of marketing plan,
budget responsibility, lead generation, management of the marketing department.
Experience: At least 5 years experience in Marketing Management within the telecommunications
or IT industry. Proven experience of writing and implementing marketing plans
and presenting at board level.
PR Marketing Executive (REF:JMC11)
Package: Circa £15k + share option scheme, pension.
Duties: Press relations, newsletter, web site, direct marketing. Reporting to
the Marketing Manager, this is a senior executive position with a potential
for management as the department grows.
Experience: At least 2 years experience of producing press releases and writing
copy, preferably in a telecommunications or IT field. Practical experience will
be valued above formal qualifications.
Marcomms Executive (REF:JMC12)
Package: Circa £15k + share option scheme, pension.
Duties: Literature, advertising, exhibitions, hospitality, sales aids. Reporting
to the Marketing Manager, this is a senior executive position with a potential
for management as the department grows.
Experience: At least 2 years experience in a similar role that involved creative
design, briefing agencies and co-ordinating exhibitions. Practical experience
is king!
2. Telemarketing Department
Talking directly to our customers and prospects allows us to quickly learn more about what interests them and why. We firmly believe that we will not succeed unless we continue to listen carefully to what our customers have to say. Telemarketing forms a cornerstone in that strategy.
Telemarketing Supervisor (REF:JMC20)
Package: Circa £18k Basic + OTE bonus of £8K, share scheme, pension,
healthcare.
Duties: To motivate and manage two telemarketing executives to meet their targets,
manage a centralised contact database, liase with marketing to source new telemarketing
lists, produce performance analysis, produce telemarketing scripts from a brief
provided by marketing. Reporting to the Marketing manager although there will
be close liaison with the Sales Manager.
Experience: At lease 3 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track
record.
Telemarketing Executives (REFJMC21)
Package: Circa £14k Basic + OTE bonus of £8K, share scheme, pension.
Duties: To contact by telephone prospects and conduct an interview with the
objective of qualifying then arranging an appointment for a sales executive.
Entering information received into a central database and producing information
packs. Reporting to the Telemarketing supervisor.
Experience: At least 2 years experience in a similar role. You must be self-motivated
and have an outward going personality.
